The driving force behind establishing RWC Wealth Management was a desire to focus on what is important to our clients one at a time.  

​All totaled the executives of the firm have more than 21 years of experience in helping clients take the next financial step. 

 

When it comes to helping small businesses, we have a wealth of experience.

Our managing director volunteered with SCORE (Service Corps of Resource  Executives) an organization dedicated to helping small business move to the next level. Rich was given Emeritus status when he stepped down as Chapter Chair because his impact led the Montgomery Alabama Chapter to national prominence by initiating a program that became a model for the organization nationwide.

Rich worked with two Fortune 100 Companies for fourteen years as Financial Planner, Functional Manager,  and Investment Specialist. His commitment to serving his clients led him to become a consistent top producer.  His philosophy is to help clients take care of their financial needs and any sales are just ancillary benefits to the service that was provided.

While working with one Fortune 100 firm, Rich closed the largest group benefits case in the history of the Central Alabama office.  Furthermore, he set the all-time production record for the office that had been in the area for several decades.

​

Rich showed his commitment to helping small businesses by volunteering with SCORE - (Service Corps or Resource Executives) an organization under the US Small Business Administration that helped businesses become certified to bid for contract work with corporations and government entities. Prior to starting RWC Wealth Management he accepted the position of Chapter Chairman.  Rich's outside the box thinking garnered the attention of SCORE National Headquarters when he recruited more Business Bankers to become SCORE mentors than any other chapter in the United States.  This was significant because it allowed every business person or aspiring entrepreneur to sit with a Business Banker in a non threatening atmosphere and learn exactly what would give them the best chance to obtain a business loan when they were in front of a loan officer at the bank.  His work was so highly regarded by his peers that they awarded him with Emeritus status upon his departure because his initiatives garnered national prominence for the chapter and became a model for chapters nationwide. He stepped down from the Chapter Chairman position to start RWC Wealth Management in 2012
